The events are open to everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced dancer. Everyone is welcome to join, have fun, and enjoy the social dance experience!
Not at all! There beginner-friendly categories at all competitions so new dancers can join with confidence. There are also advanced divisions for more experienced dancers.
Workshops during the day - Athletic or dance wear. Dance shoes are not required but highly reccomended to prevent injury and to help you dance better!
Socials and shows at night - Chic attire as a general norm. There are often themed nights at events. Saturday night is traditionally the most formal night; guys often times wearing jackets or suits and women cocktain dresses or slacks plus nice top.
Competing and performing - Dance costume is usually required. If you are competing by yourself you may go without a formal dance costume but keep in mind the costume is part of presentation: one of the things you will be judged on in a competition so the better your costume, the more over all quality your performance will reflect.
Speak with your instuctor to set up a plan for competition. Once you have a plan of action, you can register directly on each events page. Simply select the event you want to join and follow the sign-up instructions.
Event pricing varies depending on the type of event or competition. Check each event’s details on each page for exact pricing.
Absolutely! Many of our dancers come solo, the events are a friendly and welcoming environment, and we’ll help you find partners for social dances and competitions if needed.
