Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") cover your use of salsawithhunter.com and the classes and lessons sold by Dance Life NYC, doing business as Salsa with Hunter ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, buying a class pack or lessons, or coming to a class, you agree to these Terms.

1. What We Offer

We teach salsa group classes at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave, New York, NY 10018. We also offer private lessons, wedding dance lessons, choreography, a performance team, and workshops from time to time. Class nights, times and levels are listed on our schedule page.

2. Class Packs and Payments

• All classes and lessons are paid by card in advance.
• Group class packs are a one time payment. Each pack must be used within 30 days. Classes not used within 30 days expire.
• Group classes run in cycles. Buying a pack holds your spot in the cycle you signed up for.
• Performance team dues are paid monthly.
• Prices are listed on our pricing page and can change. A change never affects what you already paid for.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

Beginner Special: it comes with a 14 day money back guarantee. If you can't make it for any reason, ask us within 14 days of buying it and we give you your money back, no questions asked.

Everything else: all sales are final and we do not give refunds. If something comes up, you may postpone a cycle once a year. You must ask before the cycle starts, by texting (860) 575-3597 or emailing [email protected]. A request made after the cycle has started cannot be postponed.

4. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

When you opt in to text messages from Dance Life NYC, you agree to get recurring messages about your question, your account, your classes, and, where you agreed to it, offers.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected] or (860) 575-3597.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with, or sold to, third parties.

5. Class Rules

Please arrive on time and bring clean shoes for the floor. Levels build on each other, so we may ask you to start in Level 1. We can move, combine or cancel a class when we need to, and we will tell you as early as we can.

6. You Dance At Your Own Risk

Dancing is physical activity. By joining our classes and events you confirm that you are healthy enough to take part, and you accept the risks that come with physical activity. Talk to a doctor before you start any exercise program. As far as the law allows, Dance Life NYC is not liable for injuries that happen while you take part.

7. Photos and Video

We take photos and video in class and at events and we may use them to promote the school. Tell us in writing if you do not want to be shown, and we will keep you out of them.

8. Our Content

Our videos, class material and choreography are ours. They are for your own personal use. Please do not copy, sell or hand them out without our written permission.

9. Community Conduct

We are proud of a friendly, respectful room. We can remove any student whose behavior is abusive or disruptive, without a refund.

10. Disclaimer and Limit of Liability

Our classes are provided "as is." We do not promise any specific result. As far as the law allows, the most Dance Life NYC can owe you for any claim about our services is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using our services, you accept the updated Terms.
